HPDA – High Performance Data Analytics track

Master of computer science

Call for research project

During the master, a student will learn research by doing research. During the two years of the master, a student will thus spend between one or two days each week in a research group in order to do research projects with professors and PhD students of IP Paris.

We are looking for research projects proposal for HPDA students. Prefered research topics include (but are not limited to) parallel programming, runtime systems, applied ML, Big Data, or HPC.

You can propose two types of research projects to HPDA students:

  • Master 1 projects start mid-september and end mid-june. During the first part of the research project (from september to march), students work on the project 1 day per week. During the second part of the project (from april to june), students work 4 days a week on the project. Thus, students have plenty of time to work on this type of project ! This is a good opportunity to explore a new research topic.
  • Master 2 projects start mid-september and end mid-february. Students work on the research project 1.5 day per week. The internship can be continued with a research intership

To propose a research project to HPDA students, send a brief description of the proposed project to François Trahay.
