Who are you :

  • User

  • Initial author

  • Contributor

  • Regulator (kinda)

  • Commercial software vendor

In case of doubt :

  • better not write your own (necessarily flawed) license

  • adhere to one commonly used license (GPL, LGPL, BSD, Apache, Artistic, etc.)
