The Distributed Systems, Software Engineering and Middleware (DiSSEM) group of Telecom SudParis conducts research and teaching activities to master the increasing complexity, heterogeneity and dynamism inherent to new physical infrastructures and distributed software architectures, while taking into account the planetary resource limits and paying attention to the environmental impact of the proposed solutions. The group has the objectives to provide new middleware, abstractions and models to simplify the design and implementation of distributed applications following a software engineering approach.

The DiSSEM group is a research group of the Computer Science department of Télécom SudParis, one of the schools of Institut Polytechnique de Paris. The DiSSEM group contributes to the research activities of the ACMES team of the SAMOVAR lab.
